The hospital announced that due to expansions to the medical records and pharmacy department, the studio was to be moved from the location by the WRVS rest area to a new location, on the lower ground floor. We would however have more space in which to have a second studio, and a larger Studio One. The studio was designed by members, and submitted to the hospital for approval.

The new studio facility was completed and it was time to move in and wire up our audio equipment. By Christmas eve, all equipment had been moved from the old studio to the new studios on the lower ground floor. The station was back on air.
