Permanent broadcasts start from the temporary broom cupboard studio. The temporary studio was only 7 foot by 10 foot but still managed to house a 12 channel Fal PA mixer, 4 record turntables, a reel to reel tape recorder, a cassette deck and seating position for 2 presenters and most of the record collection. The next challenge was getting the hospital to build a new permanent studio in the outpatients area.
